Witchy Book Club
Hosted by Luna & Co. Soapery
This is a hands-on witchy book club for practitioners who want to actively engage with magical texts, not just read and discuss them.
Each book club cycle centers on a selected book and theme. Participants are expected to read between meetings and practice the rituals, spells, or exercises presented in the text on their own time. Bi-weekly gatherings are used to reflect on the work, discuss outcomes, share observations, and deepen understanding through group discussion.
The first book selection is Protection and Reversal magick, by Jason Miller which will introduce foundational practices such as spiritual cleansing, energetic protection, warding, and defensive techniques. Future book club cycles will explore different areas of witchcraft and spiritual practice.

A: No prior experience is required. The club is open to anyone interested in learning and practicing witchcraft. Some exercises may be advanced, so beginners can participate at their own pace.
Q: Do I have to complete every practice or spell?
A: No. Although participation in exercises is optional, it is strongly encouraged as this club is designed for those who want to actively try the practices between meetings. You can engage as much or as little as feels right for you.
Q: What if I don’t have the supplies for a spell or ritual?
A: We’ll provide a suggested supply list for each book or chapter. Many exercises can be adapted with no tools or items you already have at home. Some supplies will also be available at Luna & Co. Soapery with a 15% discount.
Q: Do I need to purchase the book?
A: Yes. Participants are expected to have their own copy of the book for study and practice. There are options where you can take out a book for free such as the Libby library app which connects you to public libraries or you can purchase and support a local bookstore.
Q: Is this a therapy or counseling group?
A: No. This book club is for educational and spiritual practice only. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and is not a substitute for professional care.

A: Attendance is free, but space is limited. Registration is required to secure your spot.
Q: Can I join after the first meeting?
A: Late registration is accepted only after the second meeting. The curriculum builds on each session, so attending from the beginning ensures the best experience.
